Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year is here, although widely celebrated in most Asian countries the start dates vary by country.  Also know as Chinese New Year, each year is represented by one of the animals of the Chinese Zodiac.  This is the year of the Horse.  If you are the least bit superstitious and an NFL fan, this bodes well for the Denver Broncos in tomorrow's Super Bowl game against the Seattle Seahawks.  I am rooting for Peyton and the Broncos, so I hope this is a good indicator of a Denver victory.  If you are not an NFL fan, then you probably could not give a shit about the game, however the commercials are usually some of the best of the year and you can be sure to find a compilation or two of all the commercials on You Tube after the game.  Feng Shui practitioners around the world have their prognostications for the New Year, just like western pundits and prognosticators here.  Here are 5 Things to Watch Out For in the Year of the Horse.

This week, Saturday at the Symphony features my favorite Symphony by Mozart, Number 40 in G Minor.  Nikolaus Harnoncourt conducts The Chamber Orchestra of Europe in a live recording from the Grosser Musikvereinsaal Wien.  You can watch Nikolaus Harnoncourt conducting Concentus Musicus Wien  in their performance of Symphony Number 59 in A Major, 'Fire' by Franz Joseph Haydn over on my tumblr.  While there you may also want to check out the Hottie of the Day!.  On display below the video you will find a scintillating selection of sultry sexiness in this week's edition of Naked or Nearly So.  Thanks for sharing a part of your weekend with me, see you again on Monday for another week of Music, Men and More!  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
