Brady Suspended for Playing With His Balls!

I took some small bit of perverse pleasure when I saw my least favorite NFL Quarterback hoisted on his own petard in the headlines of the Ft Worth Star Telegram and the Dallas Morning News.  Golden Boy Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady has been caught with his hands in his pants so to speak.  In last year's AFC Championship Game between Brady's Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts, Brady and his equipment man played with the balls leaving them under inflated, giving Brady a slight edge in throwing the ball in the cold temperatures.  Basically he cheated his way to another Super Bowl which he won only due to the worlds most incredibly stupid play call in the history of the Super Bowl.  However, I digress.  Brady has been suspended for 4 games with out pay, the Patriots have to pay a $1 Million fine and Belichick walks away unscathed to plan for another day.

I doubt Tom and Giselle will be missing any meals due to the suspension, but it might (and should)  cost the Patriots in the W-L category and Play Off Potential.   I actually think the Patriots should be barred from this years Play Offs.  This slap on the wrist shit really is ridiculous.  If you get caught cheating in the military, they kick you out.  In baseball, if you get caught cheating or gambling on the games, you get fired.  I don't see why Belichick and Brady should be any different.  Oh that's right, they have the SB Trophies, they can do no wrong, oh and they aren't Gay.  So it's all good.  (excuse me while I return my breakfast to the earth). If Michael Sam were a cheater, or a wife beater or even a druggie, he would be playing in the NFL.  Brady is a cheater  and he is playing in the NFL.  There is something seriously wrong with this picture.  All I know is Tom plays with the Patriots balls and he is in the NFL.  Michael plays with Vito's balls and he is not in the NFL.  Go figure.

Saturday Evening Concert

Welcome to the Weekend and your Saturday Evening Concert.  Can you believe it is already the end of January?  My how time flies.  Anyhow, my schedule has changed again somewhat.  The person we rehired to work the third shift did not work out, so my buddy D and I are taking over the night shift.  He gets 4 I get 3 ( Mon, Tues, Wed) plus my normal 5-3 on Friday.  I seem to have benefited greatly from the arrangement now with weekends and Thursday off, plus 5 more hours a week to improve the money.  I don't think I should complain about that at all, do you?  It is kind of strange not being at work on a Saturday, but enough about me, let's get on with the show.  

This evening's featured Live Performance comes to you from the Concert Hall of the Marinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia, home of the Bolshoi.  Since this is the last day of January, it also happens to be the birthday of Franz Schubert who was born on this day in 1797.  To celebrate the day, your featured selection is Schubert's String Quintet in C Major, D 956.  The performance is from a live Russian TV broadcast and features The State Borodin Quartet with the addition of Alexander Buzlov as the Second Cello to make up the Quintet.  Additional celebration in the Arpeggione Sonata performed by Tatjana Vassiljeva on Cello and Nicolas Stavy at the Piano is posted over on my tumblr along with your Hottie of the Day!.  Thanks for sharing part of your Weekend with me, see you again on Monday for another week of Music, Men & More!  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

Happy Halloween

It's Friday.  It's Halloween.  It's Truck Night.  A Triple Whammy if ever I saw one.  It should be a 'very interesting' evening, all things considered.  I just hope it does not get too wild, wooly or weird out there.  We will see how it goes down and report back to you tomorrow.  In the mean time, it is the one night of the year everyone gets the opportunity to be someone besides themselves by donning a disguise or costume.  This is known as guising or Trick-or-treating.

Back to Work, Boys!

Welcome back to your work week, for me it is the start of my weekend.  I had a fairly mellow night at work and I was "gifted" of some really righteous herb that has got me feeling frisky and naughty.   As I needed something to tempt you with for a Tuesday, I decided to go with the Naked or Nearly So theme for your eye full of eye candy.  I was able to select some rather hot photographs that should put some life in your basket as you  scroll down the page.  To give you plenty of time to look I have selected the complete Piano Quintet in E Flat Major, Opus 44 by Robert Schumann performed by Sviatoslav Richter and The Borodin Quartet to entertain your ears while you are otherwise occupied.  I am off work the next two days so I will see what I can scare up to keep you entertained and titillated as this short week progresses.  Thanks for stopping for a visit, come back soon, often and with friends and/or lovers.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
