Fundie Foolishness and Friday Fantasies

"Silver Falls"

I had the opportunity to catch up with Ryan from Boys are Ugly by I M yesterday. We decided to schedule our chats on my day off in order to make sure we stay in touch. Anyway, he has been helping Jason Dottley with a project or two. Jason is married to Del Shores who wrote Sordid Lives the movie and is producer of the series on LOGO. Seems the fundies of the Florida Family Association are planning a protest over a gay characterisations in a farcely biblical play. The video below is Jason's response to these fundies and their foolishness:

Then while cruising though my G reader I found this video posted elsewhere and thought you guys might like it too:

Great Montage of Marco de Rossi and Dylan of DeGrassi fame:

I had a great day off even though it was chilly here. It was not as cold as where Will is but enough to chill these old bones. I worked up a sweat in the afternoon when I scrubbed the floors and bathroom with some Pinesol. It did not take long and the place smells so nice and fresh, it was definitely worth the effort. I had several opportunities to provide friendship and support in my little circle of friends and ended the day with a quiet dinner at Mexican Inn (Tamales with a side of queso) and then a conversation with Will. The week end should be busy with pleasant weather and next week comes all the hoopla surrounding the inauguration of Barack Obama starting with Bishop Gene Robinson's Invocation at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday. Should be a great time for watching events unfold. I am anticipating a great speech in the vein of JFK or FDR. I hope we are not disappointed. There is a lot of hope riding on the promised changes. Let's work hard to hold him to them.

To finish up the week we have this week's red hot edition of Friday Night Fantasies to scorch your screens as you scroll down the page. Have a fabulous weekend and we will catch you here on Monday. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
