Once upon a time, about seven years ago now I suppose it is, I made a series of videos for publication here on Nichevo and on my YouTube Channel.  The videos achieved some popularity and even some nefarious notices by folks of the puritan persuasion.  One video, Summer Nights' Fantasy, drew such nefarious notice that the puritans persuaded YouTube to remove the video.  Strangely, it stayed up on my channel until just this month when it was removed because some puritan complained loudly enough that it was not "appropriate" for YouTube's audiences.  Perhaps the suggestion that Men may be found to be as erotically posed as are Women, especially when set to music, is such a turn on to them that they feel they must suppress the evidence just like they suppress their desires.  Definitely would not do to have the wife catch them sportin' wood while cruising YouTube videos of sexy men.  No, No not at all! 

However that is not the point. The point is that the video got noticed because of  a resurgence of interest in my videos as evidenced by the numerous compliments via comments on all the videos.  The videos have a modest view count of just under 50,000 for the group over the past 7 years since they were made.  It really just confirms my belief that not only do I know beauty when I see it, I can display and accentuate that beauty with great classical music.  It is gratifying to know after all these years, folks still are inspired by the videos I produced all those many years ago. 

Since there has been such a resurgence of interest in my videos, I have a play list of the remaining three videos posted down below for your viewing and listening pleasure.  With photographs from my vast collection set to music by Beethoven, Chopin and Vivaldi.  So please enjoy the videos while they are still up and before some puritan asshole takes  exception to great beauty set to great music.  Thanks for your visit, do come again! Celebrations, Finishing the Job & Stuff I Can't Make Up!

I have been busy trying to read, watch and follow the discussions, celebrations and commiserations surrounding the SCOTUS decisions.  I have been so busy that if I shared all that I have run across, we would still be here at this time tomorrow!  So rather than load you up with multitudinous linkage, I will present what I consider to be the highlights of the coverage so far.  Like these 21 Amazing Couples Who Vowed "I Do", or this two hanky Gay Wedding Video of the Day.  Then there are those who have kept their nose to the grindstone in the continuing battle for equal rights like Senator Dianne Feinstein and Representative Jerrold Nadler who are intent on Finishing the Job by introducing identical Respect for Marriage bills in the Senate and the House which would repeal the remaining portions of DOMA that have not already been deemed unconstitutional by SCOTUS.  Then not forgetting that this is still Pride Month, You Tube is celebrating Pride with this video montage of the Biggest Gay Moments on You Tube, a compendium of clips that pretty much tell the story of the most recent LGBT History as celebrated on video.   

Meanwhile, the wing nuts and wack jobs on the Conservative side of the aisle are beside themselves with their utter dismay at yet another loss, totally blaming everyone but themselves and their antiquated (or should I say Neanderthal) belief system that will not allow them to express even a smidgen of Christian Compassion for anyone or anything that is not Free, White, 21 and Straight.  However, the Family Research Council tops the list this week with their new campaign to promote religiosity amongst the peoples.  The debut of their new campaign is so fraught with homo-erotic imagery and phraseology that I just have to show it to you:  

Please note the logo that looks like that guy in the next stall devouring the dick before him and I don't know about you, but I have been on my knees for America(ns), Asians, Europeans, Hispanics and other assorted hotties for a lot longer than FRC has been around.  I guess you would have to say that "I'm In" for sure and I have answered the "call 2 fall" on my knees for more men that I could recount at one sitting.  The really sad thing is they are not able to see the irony of either their imagery or phraseology.  And they wonder why we are not only snickering but loudly guffawing (and you know your are!) at them and their efforts to promote religiosity in America.

Uncle is feeling much better this morning, of course it is my day off, why shouldn't I feel good? I may go over to see Gal Pal and some other friends in my old stomping grounds in Irving. I have a ca now , I can do that, whoo hoo! But before I rush off to go anywhere I need to get this video in front of you. There is some major changes going down over at You Tube you should be aware of and The Real Weekly News has the skinny on all that is going on. Right after his video is Will's response video followed by the link to sign the Net Neutrality petition. BE aware and get involved, keep the You in You Tube!

I have changed the music player in the sidebar again. I was not real happy with the Imeem player, so when I discovered a widget for an embeddable player when I was over at Live 365, I thought I would try it out. You have to choose the station you want to listen to by mousing over the icon and clicking the play button that appears. If you are a VIP member of Live 365 then the player will play in the sidebar, if you are not a VIP member, then a pop up player will play the free live feed of the channel you have chosen. This will give you greater choice in listening and keeps the play list fresh and different each day. Let me know what you think of the new player. I may update it with some non classical channels when I find some I like to give you a little more variety. You can suggest a genre in a comment or email if you like.

Finally for this Thursday, it is supposed to rain later today and that got my evil mind to working. I proceeded then to select a few aquanauts who like it Wet and Wild be it bath or bay, shower or sea shore, not to mention a couple of pools. Oh, btw, tomorrow is GLSEN's National Day of Silence to draw attention to homophobia on campus. Over 8,000 schools are expected to participate. More on this tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
