On The Run!

Your Musical Moment for today features the Grand Quintetteo in A Minor, Opus 81 by Friedrich Kalkbrenner.  Today's performance is by Consortium Classicum featuring Claudius Tanski as your Piano Soloist.  You may catch Kalkbrenner's Piano Concerto Number 2 in E Minor, Opus 85 over on my tumblr along with your Hottie of the Day!  Thanks for the visit, I am on the run so I gotta go.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

Still Running!

The busy pace of my life continues unabated!  I have a doctor's appointment this morning as well as grocery shopping on tap after that.  My new HDD has arrived in the UPS facility here in Fort Worth and may even get on truck for delivery today.  That would give me the weekend to get it installed and everything loaded, transferred and configured over the weekend which should not interfere too much with my publishing schedule.  However there could be some conflict or delay in the posting  of this week's review, I will get that done and posted as quickly as I can.  Your patience will be rewarded, I promise!  All that being said, I still have to create the menu for the next week and make the lists from there for the shopping trip after the doctor visit.  Maybe I will catch up to myself sometime around Monday!  I really should not complain, at least I don't have time to get bored or stagnant which is a really good thing in my book.

For your Friday Musical Moment, I have the Piano Sonata, Opus 57 'Appassionata' by Ludwig von Beethoven in an electrifying performance by Valentina Lisitsa.  This week's collection of intriguing young men and lusty lovers who are all Naked or Nearly So is as visually stunning as the performance by Ms Lisitsa is electrifying.  Thanks for sharing part of your Friday with me, have a fabulous weekend.  Be sure to stop in to check out my progress and this week's review of the best of the web this week.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

On The Run Again

I was on the run all day yesterday, however, I seem to have accomplished all that I set out to do.  It sure wore me out though.  I have another full schedule of things to accomplish for today.  Just goes to show you there is no rest for the wicked weary!  I got notified by Newegg that they had filled my order for that new HDD and gotten it to UPS for shipping.  It is being shipped from Memphis so I may get it by Friday, but probably Monday.  The installation of the new HDD, loading Windows, transferring the data, then reinstalling all my programs as well as configuring the environment will fill up quite a few hours when it does arrive.  Before I get ahead of myself though, I need to get on with my 'to do' list for today.  First up is the dreaded laundry chore which will take a while, so I best get to taking care of business.

Your Musical Moment for today features Piano Concerti Numbers 1, Opus 23 and 2, Opus 44 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in a live 1991 Performance from the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.  The performance is by the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Fedoseyev and featuring Mikhail Pletnev as Piano Soloist.  Then as is this is Thursday, that must mean a I have a collection of hard bodied hotties in another edition of Men in Jeans to cruise and peruse while you are listening to the Music.  Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, see you again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
