A Long Days Journey Into Night

"Canal Street, London"

Well I certainly put in a full day yesterday, beginning my day at the usual 3 AM. When I left the apartment at 5:30 I had no idea I would not return for good until 9 PM. My work day was wonderful as usual with good business flow all day. We added a new cast member who quickly got on board with the program and added to the good mix we have going. It was after work when things got interesting. J let me borrow his car after I got off around 3 so I could gather some groceries or go out to eat. I went home to change clothes and of course turned to the computer where I found three IM windows, 18 emails and a G reader full of articles. Then Will called and we talked for a little bit while I was chatting with the Lunch Lady on Messenger. Will is feeling much better today although it is only -8 degrees in Omaha right now (Brrrrrrr). While we were talking, A called on my cell phone wanting to borrow me for half an hour to go with him to pick up G's car at the Volvo dealership so I could drive the Lexus back to the store. No problem there, or so I thought. A drove over and picked me up. We arrived at the Volvo place on the other side of town in good time and the drive back to the store was uneventful. When I got back to the store A had discovered he had left his IPhone at the Volvo place but was needed at the store. He asked me to retrieve his phone for him and I said I would. By this time it was 5:oo and traffic time. Luckily I have enough knowledge of the area to avoid the hot spots and travel fairly expeditiously even at high traffic times. I did not go near the freeways (lol). Still it took a little longer to get there and back than it did the first time. However cruising around in a Lexus SUV is not exactly hazardous duty now is it? I got back to the store and walked over to the apartment where I had left J's car and went upstairs. I got back on line for a bit talking to Will before finally electing to go to Popeye's for chicken instead of the grocery store and fixing something. This was around 7 PM. I rang off from Will and head out to Popeye's where I picked up a box of chicken. I decided to drop the car off at the store then walk back across to the apartment. When I was walking into the store to give J his keys A was walking out and he said he had a plan for me. He asked if I would again drive the Lexus but this time out to his house while he drove the Volvo home so G could come in to work and drop me off in the process. So off I go again driving north into the burbs to Keller to A's house. When I got out to Keller I turned the wrong way on N Tarrant Road as it had been a while since I had been out there and I was approaching from a different direction than most of my trips in the past. I called A and got turned around quickly and got to the house, parked the Lexus and then got into the Volvo with G for the return trip. It was now after 8, so G took the freeway back down to the store. We got to going in circles a little bit when we got to the interchange downtown. The interchange at I35w and I30W has been completely redone since I last lived in Fort Worth so nothing looked familiar and we looped around a bit before finally getting off down 30 to Beach Street and the store. G dropped me off and I finally got upstairs for good around 9:15. I had to heat up the Chicken in Microwave. It was good anyway because by this time I was very hungry from not having eaten since 11 AM when I had a Torta de Puerco from Tapatia's. I started uploading photos for this post but grew sleepy after I ate, having had a rather long day. I lay down intending a short nap and did not wake up til around 2:30 Am. So here I am in my usual routine of talking with Will while working on my blog at 4:30 in the morning. I guess that about wraps up my little adventure for now. We will move right into some Random Hotness to appease the beast in all of us for this Thursday. Until next time as always, Enjoy!

A Long Day's Journey Into Night

Wednesday was a long day for me. I had a great deal to accomplish, most of which I got done, but unfortunately some did not. That is why I am writing this at 2AM so that you all will have fresh content this morning. Tuesday I mentioned I was going to meet the Lunch Lady for lunch on Wednesday. Well that did not happen as both company vans broke something and I had to see they got repaired as I had customers to service. The customers were not disappointed but I was. We did reschedule for next week so it will still happen, just not when originally planned, and we did talk on the phone and Messenger.

My email was great too. I got an email from Henning von Berg's Team Berlin who noticed this post and wrote to compliment me on my blog. They also sent me a series of photographs excerpted from von Berg's new book "Alpha Male" which I will be featuring in a post next week some time after I work it up. I also got the interview questions from Ryan at Best Gay Blogs which I took time to answer between phone calls and chat sessions finally finishing up around 10PM or so and sent that off. That interview will be posted on Monday or Tuesday of next week. I will let you know exactly when as soon as they tell me. That gives you two things to look forward to next week in addition to the regular content
here at Nichevo.

In addition to all that, my subscription box at You Tube was jam packed with new video content so I had to wade through all of it to bring you the best of which is posted below. The first video is a music video that I actually found posted at Towleroad featuring a song by Emmylou Harris from the movie Brokeback Mountain "A Love That Will Never Grow Old" with scenes taken from the movie. Hopeless romantic that I am I could not resist posting it in light of the death of Heath Ledger. Jake Gyllenhaal is said to be very upset and in seclusion on location in New Mexico where they have closed the set to all but cast and crew. Next up is the latest from
Wickydkewl at Break The Illusion followed by a newly posted music video from Jay Brannon. Following that video is the newest episodes from Holly Oaks and da13341. John Paul meets the new barman at The Dog and sparks do fly. Finally there are 19 short videos from GLAAD's Queer Lounge at the Sundance Film Festival in a custom player. Like I said my subscription box was jam packed and what I have posted is just the best but not nearly all that I received but I wanted to leave you some time to check out the rest of your normal Internet haunts.

The videos are followed by today's eye candy section which I still have to pick out before I can post this for your all to see. Today is going to be another long day as in addition to the company work I also have to work the desk next door on the midnight shift. They say there is no rest for the wicked, so I must be wicked indeed as I ain't getting no rest (lol). One final note before I go, you guys set another record as 1412 of you stopped by to visit for which I thank you sincerely. Please come again and do tell your friends about my little corner of the world. So I will leave you to it until next time and as always, Enjoy!
