The Last Weekend Of 2007

It is the last weekend of 2007 and everyone and their brother, sister, et cetera have come out with a Top 10 list so I will not even go there. For me, it has been a year of ups and downs, highs and lows. One of the high points of this year has been the visibility of GLBT people in the media. Whether it be on TV, in print, internet videos or on CD's, Gay people have been news this year. This can only be seen as a positive step toward equality. The more we are seen, the more people see we are just people like themselves, the closer we come to full acceptance and equality. In that vein, I have some videos again for you today. The first is Matt Machelli, thamewt, with his take on "That's So Gay" in episode 4 of his ZAP! series along with video responses from wesfletch11 and viewfromthepeak.

Next up we have America's favorite teenage Gay couple, Noah and Luke, collectively known as Nuke on as Noah says his first real public date with a guy. This episode leaves the door open for perhaps a future on screen consummation of there relationship. America is waiting for that one, will CBS be brave enough to put it on the air?

Then for the final video of the day, I have for you one hot music video by Israeli pop artist Jonathon Gatro. The video is not in English, but music is the universal language and if you watch the video, you will have no doubts about what he is singing.

John Paul, Matt And ZAP!

The weekend is upon us and I wanted to post earlier than I did yesterday. As I promised I have the new John Paul video from Holly Oaks courtesy of da33431. This episode sets up several possibilities for the John Paul story line and we will just have to see how they play out. What part is Niall going to play in JP's life? Stay tuned to find out. da33431 who posts these videos gets the episode the day before it is shown nationally in the UK so you are getting today's episode the same day everyone in the UK does.

I also wanted to introduce you to Matt Machelli to whose You! Tube page I subscribe. He does a lot of political commentary and has a rather amusing view on most things. He has a new project and channel, thamewt, which grew out of an idea (ZAP!) he had about creating a coming out video archive to be a source for Gay and Questioning youth. I put together the original concept video he did at Machelli along with the first three episodes of ZAP! so you could see the concept in origination and then follow through. I think you will like them and this is a worthy project executed with both humor and insight.
