Wednesday Wet and Wild

I have been out running around this morning, so I have some sense of accomplishment.  However, I really haven't combed through my feeds to find something to rant or rave about as yet.  That's OK, though, as I can make up for my lack of words with some truly beautiful Music and wet and wild, muscular Men.  And so I shall...

As promised, your Midweek Musical Moment features part two from this 2 CD set of Sonatas for Violin, Cello and Harpsichord by Guiseppe Tartini as performed by Enrico Gatti on Violin, Gaetano Nasillo on Cello and Guido Morini on Harpsichord.  In cluded in the play list are Sonata Prima in D major, Op. 2/1, B.D13; Sonata 4 in B minor, Op. 2/4, B.H6; Sonata Quinta in A minor, Op. 2/5, B.a10 and Sonata 11 in E minor, Op. 2/11, B.e8.  You may also hear Tartini's Concerto for Viola de Gamba in A Major over on my tumblr.

For your visual appreciation, there is a gathering of the wet and wild twinks, twunks, hunks and hotties in this edition of Wet Wednesday on display below the play list.  Be sure to check out the Hottie of the Day! also on my tumblr.  Thanks for sharing your day with me, see you again soon.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

Tartini & Tuesday's Temptations

I was called in to work early yesterday and my relief was almost an hour late last night.  Consequently, I worked an 11.5 hour day and with the icy roads last night, I did not get home until nearly midnight.  Then this morning and into this afternoon, I have been at the doctor with Will or getting his prescriptions filled.  As a result, I have nothing prepared for you guys except for the Music and the Men which will just have to suffice for the day.

Your Musical Moment for this Tuesday is the first of two days of Music for the Violin by Guiseppe Tartini taken from this 2 CD set.  In part one of Tartini's Sonatas for Violin, Cello and Harpsichord, the play list features Sonata 12 in F major, Op. 1/12, B.F4; Pastorale in A major, Op. 1/13, B.A16; Sonata 4 in G major, Op. 1/4, B.G17; Sonata 10 in G minor "Didone abbandonata", Op.1/10, B.G10 and Sonata Terza in C major, Op. 1/3, B.C11.  Today's performance is by Enrico Gatti on Violin, Gaetano Nasillo on Cello and Guido Morini on Harpsichord.  You may also hear Tartini's  Violin Sonata in G Minor, 'Devil's Trill' as performed by Itzhak Perlman over on my tumblr.  Then come back tomorrow for part two from the CD set.

For your viewing pleasure there is a rather fetching collection of a variety of muscular men gathered to serve as your Temptations for this Tuesday.  Be sure to check out the Hottie of the Day! over on my tumblr also.  Thanks for the visit, see you tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
