Better Late Than Never

"Afternoon at the Lake"

I know I am late in posting today. This is because my body clock is in a full scale wtf rebellion causing erratic sleep patterns and oblique mood changes. While I am normally a very cheerful person, I have been kinda bitchy lately and for this I apologize to the folks who have born the brunt of my caustic behavior. However that does not preclude the necessity of providing interesting, timely and provocative content here on these pages as well as the best examples of eye candy I have in my collections. That being said, today's videos include the promised video from The Real Weekly News, a new video from Out.com/IDAHO, MSNBC on Teabagging and a global mashup of video perfomances by the members of the You Tube Symphony Orchestra playing the Tan Dun symphony Eroica written especially for them. Below the News video is a link to sign the Net Nuetrality petition spoken of in the video. Following the videos is a little collection of Beautiful Blonds to get you over your midweek hump. Until next time as always, Enjoy!

Wednesday Video Vault

I did manage to get some rest yesterday. I don't recover from 48 hours nonstop like I did as a stalwart youth so I really did not accomplish much else at all. Miss Thing, my lovely tabby cat with calico highlights, was very loving as usual. She likes to crawl into my arms, purr against my chest and give me a kitty massage by padding her paws on my arms, shoulders and chest. She likes to sleep beside my pillow when I am in bed, snuggled in tight, purring in my ear. Now if I could just find a hunky guy to do the same thing on a regular basis...hmmm.

As is usual by this time each week my subscription box at You Tube is full of videos so we will share them with you today. This first video is an MSNBC report on some of the homophobic reactions to the untimely death of Keith Ledger.

Next up we have the most recent episodes from Holly Oaks featuring John Paul of course, Father Kieron and Niall.

This next video is Davey Wavey on National Universal World Smile Day, admittedly a holiday of his own making but one which should be observed on a regular basis by everyone.

I experienced some of the joy of Smile Day myself yesterday. I have always believed in passing smiles along to people I meet and today was no different. I was at the local Popeye's for cheap chicken Tuesday (two pieces for 89 cents). When I entered there was a young Hispanic man sitting in the dining room reading Al Dia, the local Spanish language news paper with this serious look on his face. I ordered my chicken and as I was awaiting its arrival I was checking out the young man in the dining room. He was slim, well dressed with dark curly hair styled to perfection. He looked up and met my gaze as I gave him a smile. You would have thought the sun had burst through on a cloudy day. His green eyes flashed and his face lit up like a 1000 watt bulb. The moment was brief as my order came up and he went back to reading his paper but the miracle of the smile had invigorated the moment and improved the day for both of us. Try passing your smile along to someone and see if it does not make both your days better for the experience.

This next set of videos are not really videos but a replay of the Jay Munday conservative radio talk show of last Friday supporting John Gibson's homophobic mocking of Heath Ledger saying John Gibson did nothing wrong. Throughout the show Munday attacks the "sick" liberal media, the LA Times, MSNBC and us bloggers who he says are out to destroy conservative talk radio and the right of free speech. He went on to say he "knows personally" that John Gibson is not homophobic. I do not know what planet this guy came from or is on nor do I know why people like him, John Gibson and Rush Limbaugh continue to have a platform to spew hate and lies while polluting the airwaves with attacks on us "sick liberal bloggers". Is it any wonder we want to get them removed from the airwaves? It is because of people like this that there is still so much hate and the attendant viciousness and criminal attacks here in America. Yes this is still America and they have the right to state their opinions as do I. Unfortunately they spread hate while I and so many other of us "sick liberal bloggers" try to increase tolerance and acceptance while trying to erase the hate. I warn you, listening to this is going to piss you off.

Now to sooth your anger, take a deep breath, exhale slowly and scroll down to take a look at some fine young men that will take your mind to a place filled with something a considerably more pleasant than anything you will find on conservative talk radio. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
