On The Run!

I am in the midst of a very busy Pay Day, having been out running errands already.  I also have lots more to do this afternoon before heading off to work 5-11.  So I thought I should dash in here and put something together for you my loyal readers before I run off again.  So here goes....

As you may well know, Polish Composer Frederic Chopin was a prolific composer of Music for the keyboard and also a Virtuoso Pianist.  Vladimir Ashkenazy, the Russian-born Pianist and Conductor, undertook a project to record Chopin's complete works which resulted in a 13 CD box set.  Your Musical Moment for today comes from CD number 6 which features the Chopin Polinaises.  Included in the play list are Polonaise No.1 in C sharp minor, Op.26 No.1; Polonaise No.2 in E flat minor, Op.26 No.2; Polonaise No.3 in A, Op.40 No.1 'Military'; Polonaise No.4 in C minor, Op.40 No.2; Polonaise No.5 in F sharp minor, Op.44; Polonaise No.6 in A flat, Op.53 'Heroic' and  Polonaise No.7 in A flat, Op.61 'Polonaise-Fantasie',  Additionally, you may hear a marvelous performance of Chopin's Polonaise Brillante, Opus 3 for Piano and Cello by Mstislav Rostropovich on Cello and Martha Argerich at the Piano over on my tumblr.

Once again it is that time of week when Nichevo goes Daffy for Denim and I have quite the array of buff hunks and hotties in this week's edition of Men in Jeans on display below the play list.  Then to add a little spice to your life, head on over to my tumblr to check out the Ginger in Jeans Hottie of the Day!.  Thanks for the visit, see you again soon.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!

Welcome to December!

Well, December started off with a bang with a heavy dose of Midnight Madness that never quit all night long.  Sean and I still managed to get everything done but we were cutting it close due to the constant flow of customers.  By the time the creatures of the night quit coming in, it was time for the more "normal" morning rush customers to start coming in which they did in droves.  We both managed to get relieved by the day shift semi on time as we were both out of there by 6:20.  That was good as I had not done any prep work for this post before going to work.  Not to fear though, your intrepid Uncle put his nose to the grindstone and whipped up  a goodly amount of content for your entertainment today.

Before we get to the music and the men, I would like to remind everyone that today is World Aids Day.  It is a day to remember those we have lost, celebrate with those who are still living and thriving despite this disease, and to promote the precautions necessary to prevent the spread of Aids.  Abstinence is still the most sure way to not catch Aids or any other STD, although it is impractical to suggest that nominally healthy, horny men will abstain from pursuing their sensual pleasures.  Therefore, let us fight Aids as we play safe remembering to always wear a condom to protect not only yourself but those you love.

Moving on the the music and the men, we are staying with the Piano bent with a Russian flavor for today's play list as the composer, soloist and the conductor are all of Russian descent.  The play list is comprised of four videos containing the complete Piano Concerto Number 2 by Sergei Prokofiev performed by Evginy Kissin and the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy from a 2008 performance at the Royal Festival Hall.  Posted after the play list is this week's edition of lots of macho Men In Jeans to delight the senses and fuel your fantasies.  Thanks for stopping in to my little corner of the world, come again soon and often.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
