It is a slow and mellow morning here in Texas. A cold front has moved through this morning giving us a chilly but brilliantly sunny day. Just perfect for curling up with a good book or cuddling by the fireplace. The day seems to go hand in hand with the good news out of Hawaii where the Senate is expected to vote on the House amended language to the Marriage Equality bill the Senate passed last week 20-4. The measure is expected to pass once again and head over to the Statehouse for Governor Neil Abercrombie's expected signature, maybe as soon as tomorrow. If all goes as planned, Marriage Equality will begin on December 2. Hawaii will then become state number 16 with Marriage Equality. Would that not be a great way to celebrate Christmas with a wedding in Hawaii?
