Best of the Web This Week

Welcome to the weekend and today's photographic review of the Best of the Web This Week.  I have spent a lot of time the last couple of days catching up with all my feeds and sources, gathering some 935 photographs along the way.  From among them, I have selected 70 excellent examples of the beauty to be found in the art of the male form.  The photographs range from the innocent to the exotic, each with its own intrinsic qualities that grasp the attention of and draw the viewer into them.  I am sure you will appreciate the selections I have made for your perusal.  After completing your examination of this week's review, you may want to check out these two articles from the Huffington Post, The Best TV Characters That Arrived in 2012 and The Best Musical Moments on TV in 2012.  Both are worthy of your attention.

I found your Saturday Soundtrack when I was looking for music which I posted earlier in the week.  Your Saturday Soundtrack comes from this 4 CD Box Set of musical works entitled Essercizii Musici by Georg Philipp Telemann.  The performance is by Camerata Koln.  Telemann was a most prolific composer and a multi-instrumentalist who was friends with and influenced by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arcangelo Corelli and George Frideric Handel.  This recording reflects the diversity of instruments for which he wrote as well as the beauty and vitality inherent in each instrumental voice.  I could not find a play list other than the photo of the back of the box set which lists all the tracks which I have posted just above the video.  A very beautiful listening experience just perfect to accompany your examination and appreciation of the exquisite examples of the fine art of the male form found in this week's review.  On a side note, tomorrow is the 243rd birthday of Ludwig von Beethoven.  Do yourself a favor and listen to some Beethoven to honor this anniversary of his birth.  Thanks for choosing to spend part of your weekend with me here at Nichevo.  I look forward to seeing you again on Monday.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
