Travel, Romance, Music and Men!

I sure hope your Monday is going as good as mine is. I really could not believe it when both the day girls showed up by 5 after 6:00 this morning. I thought I might have a heart attack right then, lol. After an especially good night working with Jacob the hottie and making a new friend by the name of Ramon, who is an excellent conversationalist, to get off on time was the piece de resistance or maybe the cherry atop a sundae. At any rate, I am in an excellent mood and have the night off to boot. So let's start Monday off with a bang, shall we?

I got today's first video in my You Tube In Box from Blulight Gallery. The video is an aerial tour of Siena, Italy set to some great music. Siena is a city in Tuscany, Italy. It is the capital of the province of Siena. The historic centre of Siena has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. It is one of the nation's most visited tourist attractions, with over 163,000 international arrivals in 2008. Siena is famous for its cuisine, art, museums, medieval cityscape and the Palio, a horse race held twice a year. Take a look and a listen:

Today's second video is dedicated to Democratic US Congressman Barney Frank who married his long time partner James Ready in a ceremony officiated by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick on Saturday evening. Congressman Frank was the first openly Gay member of Congress and is now the first sitting Congressman to enter into a Same Sex Marriage. The private ceremony was held in a hotel close by the banks of the Charles River in Newton, Massachusetts and was attended by many political and social luminaries but was closed to the media. To congratulate Barney and James, here is a little romantic medley of love songs performed by Bradley Joseph on his 13th studio album, Piano Love Songs, on the Robbins Island Music label. "Soft Classic Love Songs Performed on the Piano" the complete listing of songs can be found here. May you both enjoy many years of happiness together:

Now you know I could not let a post go without some classical music in here somewhere, and today is no different. Today's third video is the Violin Concerto in D Major by Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky from a classic 1959 recording by The Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Eugene Ormandy featuring David Oistrakh on Solo Violin. Then this video is followed up by a marvelous selection of delectable men in their Monday's Undies to inspire your desire and kick start your week. Thanks for the visit, see you again tomorrow! Until next time as always. Enjoy!
