I went out last night to the club across the street from my store. I had two purposes in mind, to have a good time and to talk to Denise, who is the manager, about hosting a fund raiser for the 'Friend' project. I am happy to report that I was successful on both counts. Denise and I are going to work up an event either at the club or another venue where those not of drinking age could attend. So all is well in my little world this morning with the exception of a slight back lash from the margaritas I had last night. But I can live with that, lol. Today is also payday which means chores and errands to be done. Thankfully I am off tonight so I can stay up a little late getting things done before drifting of into sleepy land.
Even though I spent the evening out, I do have some great stuff for your entertainment today. I have another superb concert experience on video for you recorded at the MusikTriennale in Cologne, Germany with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Daniel Barenboim in a 1997 performance. The music for the concert is Symphony Number 5 in C Sharp Minor written in 1902-1902 by Gustav Mahler. This dynamic and energetic piece is enthusiastically performed by the CSO and Barenboim at his theatrical best to provide you with an outstanding listening and viewing experience. Then in due course under the video is this week's edition of Men In Jeans which should put a rise in your Levi's without fail. Thanks for spending part of your Thursday with me. See you again tomorrow. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
