My phone rang at 11 Pm last night, just as I was digging into some fresh Pasta Fazool that was featured earlier this week on Cooking With Jack here at Nichevo. It was of course my boss saying everyone had bailed on him and could I take his fat out of the fire by working. I did, arriving about midnight and working until 6:30. So I am a little behind where I thought I would have been if not for the late night call I received. Never fear, dear readers, Uncle Gerry still has a bevy of beauties awaiting your ardent review selected from the over 700 photographs I collected this week. However, before we succumb to all out visual pleasure, let me bend your ears with a little music for your aural appreciation. Today I feature three videos from You Tuber Cineman8, to whom I subscribe btw, all featuring the Piano either solo or in duo. Beginning with Dante Lorenzo Dilanni performing Opening from Glassworks by Philip Glass and an Improvisational Sketch in C minor, recorded recently in London. While on the same London trip, Cineman8 also recorded Song Without Words by Felix Mendelsohn in another great performance by the duo of Cellist Ivan Andrews and Pianist Eric Stevens. Closing out the play list is Les Jeux d'eaux a la Villa D'Este by Franz Liszt beautifully performed by Ffinian Jones at the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields also in London recently. I would have to say Cineman8 must have had a fabulous trip while getting to record such wonderful music while he was there. As always, you can find all my videos and previously posted play lists on my You Tube channel. Thanks for sharing part of your weekend with me, see you again on Monday right here at Nichevo. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
