TGIF!! We made it to to Friday at last. Surprisingly enough the day shift was on time this morning for the first time in a long, long time so I got off a little early for once. One positive point, however there has been a screw up of some sort in payroll as my direct deposit has yet to hit. The boss is supposed to pay me in cash this morning when I go back around 10 AM. I sure hope so as I have stretched my available resources to the max this week. This has caused a little bit of stress on me but I will roll with the punches as they say. Let's hope next week does not prove to have the same problem.
The musical portion of this post focuses on yet another instrument in the orchestra, the Viola which is the big brother to the Violin. The pieces I have selected include an unidentified piece by the UMass Viola Ensemble, the Passacaglia for Violin and Viola by Johan Halvorsen, and Concertos by M. Pletnev and Sofia Gubaidulina. Featured performers are Yuan-Wen Chang, Shang-Wu Wu, Katherine Lockwood, Alexander Akimov and Yuri Bashmet. The Concertos are rather lengthy so you might want to set aside a little time to listen to them, but they are well worth the listen. If you like my play lists and/or would like to see previous video play lists published here at Nichevo, you can go to my You Tube Channel where they are all available to you. Then of course the videos today are followed by some handsome hunks to ignite your Friday Night Fantasies once again. Thanks for stopping by and until next time as always, Enjoy!
