The Adventure Begins

Meditative Mountain Morning

Monday was the last day of freedom for the next few weeks as we ramp up the new store and develop our crew. A, G, and I are the main players with A and G being brothers. Together we took one last preview in the afternoon before this mornings takeover. Today we have to count everything in the store, sign, design, fold, staple and other wise complete tons of paperwork as well as the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 AM. If you are reading this after 5 AM then I am already at work counting things. It's OK, you have to know what you have before you can know what you need. I am looking forward to the challenge, especially in these economic times as well as the opportunity to work with old friends again. We will keep you posted on our progress, successes and continuing challenges.

I finally got my last check from NLR in the mail yesterday just barely averting a real cash flow crises of my own. Then I managed to get the check cashed and some supplies bought before dealing with the cable company to arrange service prior to the Cowboy game on Thanksgiving. I was successful only after making a trip downtown to find they had moved the offices to SW Fort Worth out by Hulen Mall and my mother's house. I finally reached them by phone where I was gently surprised to be greeted by Matt who proceed to solve all the issues and get installation scheduled for tomorrow morning from 10-12 (we will see if they are on time). Therefore Gal Pal and I are shopping for a TV later today so I will have one when they install the cable. I opted for the premium package which includes LOGO so I can now have dedicated LGBT programming available when I wanna watch the tube, yoo hoo! So, busy day, or should I say days ahead for yours truly heading into the holiday season with Thanksgiving and Black Friday coming up later this week. To get you in the mood I have served up a veritable feast of fine looking fellows for your Tuesday Temptations this week. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
