Lunch At Frostop

Geysers, Black Rock Desert, Nevada

When I first discovered Frostop I wrote about it here and have mentioned it several times as it is becoming a favorite eatery. Not only is the restaurant located nearby but the food is terrific! Just recently they opened their new location about a block and a half from the old location in much nicer facility. I was there the other day but did not have my camera with me, today I came prepared. Before I got there, I stopped in at the Savers Store between their old and new locations. Savers is a resale shop on a grand scale which has tons of merchandise at reasonable prices but is also neat and organized. I had a ball there picking up 3 shirts and some Old Navy denim shorts but the bargain of the day were the antique white linen shorts that were tagged for quick sale that day for 99 cents. $21 and change total cost, with one of the shirts being a Brooks Brothers that fit like a dream. Anyway, back to food, here is the new Frostop location:

The next few photos look to the right as you enter and sweep to the left around to the front of the shop.

They have these retro chic table tops

Hosted by the friendly staff

The meal presentation is quite appetizing

I had never had one of their burgers, I was stuck on their chicken fried steak. However the owner pictured at left above told me his burgers were better. I to him he would have to go a far piece to beat that chicken fried steak sandwich.. I orderde a cheesebuger value meal which comes standard as you see above. It tastes every bit a s good as it looks, full of flavor without being overly juicy and fries once again with just the right amount of grease.

Of course one of the best things about any meal in any restaurant is the ambiance factor. Well I think the management at Frostop has the right idea as far as ambiance is concerned.

Hmmm? What do you think? The scenery certainly did me a world of good, I can tell you! After my delicious repast (the owner was close to right, it would be hard for me to pick the better tasting sandwich) and photo session I returned home to finish off the rest of my "honey do" list (me being the only "honey" doing) which stretched my evening a little far but I had already posted so it worked out O K. Today in Video Nichevo we have a profile of Jason and DeMarco, a wonderful coming out story, a great music video with lots of hot guys, and a short, sweet film A Kiss In The Snow. There are two additional videos, the first with Ted and Caroline Kennedy at the DNC and then Michele Obama center stage prime time DNC last evening. After that there is maybe a photo or two (or more) of some maybe hot hunks just waiting to get your blood pumping today, you will just have to scroll down and pick one out for yourselves! Until next time as always, Enjoy!

I wonder if there is a "Hot Hunks for Obama/Biden" organization somewhere? Weho, maybe or some home town hotties in Chicago?
