Rain And Chocolates

Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate Region, Morocco

After all craziness of the last couple of days, it is quite nice to wake up to a quiet Sunday morning with a gentle rain falling. Unfortunately I cannot attend services at Open Door today as I have to work at Noon, so I will just laze my way through until then with a leisurely breakfast and a few hours on line. I feel pretty good about how I am doing at work as does the boss apparently as he bought dinner for MM and I last night. The new schedule comes out today, so we will see how the adventures in behavioral science will play out this week. That's the thing with this job, there is always something different going on to keep life interesting. Honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, concerts and conventions, sporting events and tournaments all lend a flavor to the mix of guests we host on any given day. Life in a hotel is like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, you can never tell what you are going to get until you dive in and take a bite. You might get the creamy smooth flow of the liquid center or you might end up with a bunch of nuts. Sometimes you get drama, sometimes you get comedy but always you get the opportunity to make their experience better for being there. With an ever changing guest list it is an ongoing challenge on a daily basis which provides a lot of satisfaction when it is well met by our staff.

There's not much else happening around here today so I will leave you with today's eye candy selections. We will catch you here again tomorrow, until next time as always, Enjoy!
