EdgeFest Attacks!

Kipukai Reef Formations Kauai, Hawaii

It has been a crazy couple of days here in NLR. I was going to post earlier today but I got called in to work so I am a little behind schedule. EdgeFest is in town this weekend so every Rock n Roller in the region has descended on NLR like locusts, devouring hotel rooms, restaurants and the Riverfront entertainment district. We also had the American Heart Association Walk today and there is a duathlon of some sort tomorrow. Last night was also prom night at NLRHS so we had hard core rockers and high school party animals everywhere. Needless to say the hotel is overflowing with guests of every persuasion known to humankind. Quite the study in behavioral characteristics as OJT. If you want to study the behavior of humans, just work a week behind the desk of a hotel and you will be amazed at what you will learn about people. One thing is for sure there have been no dull moments behind the desk for the last couple of days. Tomorrow should be an easier day as all the EdgeFest folks will sleep late then check out and go home and no large groups are expected for tomorrow night. Next weekend we have a Soccer tournament at Burns Park so we will once again have jocks everywhere in the hotel. Never a dull moment around here on the weekends!

I have not had a chance to catch up on the blogs or news so I really don't have much else to post except of course you daily selections of eye candy which follow this paragraph. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
