Saturday at the Symphony

I have a short night ahead of me as I have to return to work at 2 PM.  Therefore, rather than dilly dally around with this, that or the other thing, I thought I would reblog the video description of the piece of music you are about to hear which is actually an excellent set of liner notes.  However, as I cannot seem to be able to copy and paste the description for some reason, I will just link you to them instead.  These liner notes give you some background on the British Composer Sir Arnold Bax, and the period of time in which he wrote his Symphony Number 3.  The notes then go on to give a detailed synopsis of the various movements contained within this work.  The  performance today is by the London Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Bryden Thomson.  You may also hear Bax's Symphony Number 4 over on my tumblr. 

Then to brighten your weekend and mine, I have an excellent collection of Naked or Nearly So photographs for your perusal today.  Each photographic portrait is evocative in and of itself, drawing the viewer into each one in an uniquely intimate way.  The collection as a whole is a feast  for the eyes ranging from subtle sensuality to overt sexiness.  The is also the classic photograph of Pavel Novotny who is the Hottie of the Day! over on my tumblr to put the cherry on top of the sundae.  Thanks for sharing a part of your weekend with me, now it time put my butt in bed.  I will see you again on Monday for another week of Music, Men & More!  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
