TGI Monday

Yes, thank God It's Monday.  While most of you are returning to your regular weekday routine, it is my only day off this and every week.  That is not to say I haven't anything to do, I always have something I 'have to do'.  I have to make a bread and milk run to Kroger then settle in for a phone call to legal aid to see what they can do to help me in light of recent events.  Later on I have a couple of movies on tap along with whipping up some Chef Boy-ar-Geradini Spaghetti.  I also have some garlic and cheese bread sticks I picked up at Trader Joe's to go along with the Spaghetti.  I don't know yet whether I will make Parmesan meat balls or just stick with a meat sauce.  Either way it is bound to be delicious.  

I made a studious attempt all weekend to avoid reading the news, mostly by working but pretty much avoiding the news feed the rest of the time.  Therefore I do not have much I want to kibitz on this morning.  However, I did search out some excellent Music and exquisite Man Art with which to entertain and inspire you.  So let's get on with the show!

Your Monday with Mozart features a 3 piece by the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra at the 2012 Schwetzingen Festival.  The set is centered on Mozart's Piano Concerto Number G Major, KV453.  The Concerto is proceeded by Der Schauspieldirektor, KV486, Overture and the set closes with Idomeneo, KV366, Musique de Ballet.  The conductor is Petra Mullejans and the Piano Soloist is Kristian Bezuidenhout.  You may also hear a live concert recording of Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola over on my tumblr.
