Miles to Go Before I Sleep

Today is my day off yet I have a pretty busy schedule of errands to run and things to accomplish.  I have to go to the VA to get my in person authentication done so I can access my medical records on line as well as make appointments and coordinate my health care.  I also have to get my photo taken for my VA ID card.  From there, I have to drop off the cable boxes at the Charter office over by my Mother's house.  Will and I catch all our TV favorites on line now, so paying for TV service seems a little redundant.  I don't even have a TV for my room, as I gave it up when we moved here.  Will uses his TV for his gaming consoles, so there is really no point in having the boxes and paying for the service.

Then I will visit my Mother while I am in the neighborhood as well as drop off some of my home made beef stew so she can have a home made hot meal for dinner tonight.  After that, I have to drop off my phone at FEDEX for return to Ting.  I lost my old phone and the new one I got had either a defective battery or the phone itself was defective.  They sent me a new one that seems to be working just fine, so I have to return the defective one so I won't have to pay for the new one.  Ting is paying for the shipping, so all I have to do is drop it off.

Then I have my meeting with the new manager at my apartments so she can get a earful of my dissatisfaction with the state of maintenance around here.  I will not accept another unit in this complex as a solution to the seemingly endless problems we have had since moving in.  We intend to move at the end of our lease in May and I don't want to move now then again 3 months later.  We think we have found our new home over in my Mother's neighborhood so all we have to do is hold on to the end of the lease, then we can shake the dust from this place from our feet and move on to someplace better.  I am eager to ensconce us in the new digs, but I am not looking forward to the actual move with its attendant lifting and toting of all we possess.  I may hire some movers to make things easier on me, but that just depends on the money available at the time.

After all that is accomplished, maybe I can get some rest before having to return to work tomorrow.  I am sure I will not feel like getting into a big production for dinner, so before I depart for all my running around, I am throwing some chicken and barbecue sauce in the crock pot to slow cook all day.  That way all I have to really do tonight is heat up some Ranch Style Beans and make some Mac-N-Cheese.  All this stuff should just about fill my day to overflowing with activity.  Once dinner is done, I am going to lock the door and hide away until time for work tomorrow.  Wish me luck on finding some time to rest somewhere in my day today.

Your Musical Moment for today features the Opus 1 Concerti Grossi of Petro Antonio Locatelli including Numbers 2, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10.  Today's performance is by the Freiburger Barockorchester under the baton of Gottfried von der Goltz.  Over on my tumblr, you may want to listen to Music for Brain Power featuring music from Mozart, Chopin, and Costantini.

Last but not least is this week's scintillating selections serving as your Tuesday's Temptations on display below the play list as well as the Hottie of the Day! over on my tumblr.  Thanks for sharing a part of your day with me, see you again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
