Friday? Already!?!

Here it is the weekend again already.  The Christmas holiday being in the middle of the week has thrown a lot schedules out of whack.  While you guys are getting ready for some RNR, I will be playing gentleman grocer in the cultural district.  Not that I am complaining, mind you, however you guys will probably have a little more fun practicing for next week's 'drunkest holiday of the year' on New Year's Eve.  Just remember that designated driver thing, I wanna see all of you back here in one piece.  In any case, let's get the good times rollin'!

Your Friday Musical Moment features the music of Ludwig von Beethoven again today.  Rather than the sonata we heard yesterday, today's selection is his Piano Concerto Number 3 in C Minor, Opus 37.  Today's performance has Daniel Barenboim at the Piano and conducting the members of Staatskapelle Berlin.  You can also join me for Handel's Concerto for Due Cori Number 1 in B Flat Major with a performance by Trevor Pinnock and The English Concert as well as checking out the 'Hottie of the Day!' over at my tumblr.
