Tuesday Update

I have made mention several times here lately of my problems sleeping for more than a couple hours at time.  At my old store, I always worked the midnight shift which meant I had to sleep in the daylight hours.  I was not always successful at that.  However, at the new store I work mostly afternoons and evenings.  So I decided to change my sleep schedule to where I sleep during the hours of darkness.  Changing ones sleep schedule is not always easy, however, I have finally got my body assimilated to the change.  I have slept throughout the night for the last couple of days and I feel much more rested.  This does mean my posts will be up a little later in the day than in the past, but I think the trade off is more than worth it.

In last Friday's post I told you I was still waiting for a promised deposit from the SS Administration.  I did get a hold of someone in the local office on Friday.  It seems that mystery second deposit I received on September 25 was the payment for July with the pay master getting ahead of the letter writer.  I asked why they would deposit money without explaining the reason, then generate a letter 5 days later telling me to expect the deposit at a later date, for which they had no explanation.  They did assure me that my regularly scheduled deposit due on 10/23 would be on time.  That put my mind at ease as I have my first payment on the new car coming up shortly after that.  So all's well that ends well.

In the Bible, it says 'all good things come to he who waits'.  I must admit that I have been waiting a long time.  Yet my long suffering patience has been rewarded as a multitude of good things have been coming my way.  As long as I work The Plan as written and exhibit a modicum of patience, then all the good things I want to accomplish will come to pass.  One thing is for sure, I am much better off than I have been in a really long time.  Believe me, it is a really good thing.  Now if I could just find a man who would fall in love with me and want to fuck me senseless, I would not have a complaint in the world!  Ah, well, I can't expect everything to just fall in my lap, now can I?

I discovered some more recordings by Pianist Stefan Irmer whom I featured in yesterday's Musical Moment.  Irmer recorded  the many non operatic Piano works penned by Italian Composer Gioacchino Rossini.  Rossini is of course most famous for his operas such as The Barber of Seville and William Tell.  However he wrote prolifically for the Piano and other  instruments after officially retiring from the opera in 1829 until his passing in 1868.  Over the next four days, your Musical Moment will feature the four volumes of Rossini's Piano Works as recorded by Irmer.  Today's play list includes Petite caprice in the style of Offenbach; Memento homo in C minor; Assez de memento: dansons, in F major; Une caresse à ma femme, in G major; Un profond Sommeil; Un réveil en Sursaut; Un enterrement en carnaval, in D major; Mon prélude hygiénique du matin; La Lagune de Vénice à l'expiration de l'année 1861!!!, in G flat major and Marche et réminiscenses pour mon dernier voyage, in A flat major.

Finally for today I have gathered an diverse collection of handsome hotties to serve as your Tuesday Temptations.  Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, see you again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
