Apparently some parts of the government are still hard at work despite the best efforts of the Tea Party Radicals who are holding us hostage just because they can. In yesterday's mail, I received a letter from the SS Administration. In the letter I was informed that based on the information they had, they had not paid me all the money due me so far for this year. As a result, in addition to my regular deposit on the fourth Wednesday of the month, I would receive an additional payment on October 8. This was a most pleasant surprise. My immediate thought was 'go ahead and twist my arm, make me accept more money'. Who was I to argue with the powers that be when they want to give me more money? This of course puts me ahead of schedule when it comes to implementing The Plan. The initial phase, which was the purchase of my new care was most successful. Phase 2, my new glasses is in process and will be complete once I have received the glasses I have on order from Zenni Optical. This additional payment will go towards satisfying the next phases of The Plan which is to set aside the $500 deductible on my car insurance and saving for a new more zippy wow computer. It seems my finances are getting healthy in a hurry thanks to the return to me of moneys I have paid into SS over the last 40 or so years. It is really cool to open up my banking web site and finding there is actual money left in my account after everything is paid. Surprising, but pleasantly so. Maybe my karma is actually catching up to me at long last. Whatever the reason I am all of the sudden receiving multiple payments from the SS Administration, I am most grateful and consciously working to make the best use of the funds made available to me. I'll go with the flow and not look back.
