At the Stroke Of Midnight...

...last night, the Freedom to Marry expanded by two more states when Marriage Equality became the law of the land in Rhode Island and Minnesota.  The two states join the ranks of the other 11 states who value all their citizens and afford them the right to marry the partner of their choice.  Early morning ceremonies were planned in city halls and county courthouses across both states.  In Minnesota, even the shopper's wet dream, the Mall of America, joined the company of other venues with ceremonies planned for their Chapel of Love.  Mayors and Ministers, Judges and other officials plan to be busy as they join couples from across the broad spectrum of the LGBT community who wish to be among the first to exercise their right to pursue happiness by marrying the person they love.  Congratulations to the happy couples and all the citizens of Rhode Island and Minnesota as they embrace Equality, helping to move this country closer to that "more perfect union" our founders were talking about lo those 243 years ago.

For your Musical Moment today, imagine yourself as one of the congregants seated in one of the great European Cathedrals (like the one in Stasbourg pictured above) when springing forth from the Narcex  come the strains of these Concerti for Organ and Trombone, rapidly infusing the entirety of the magnificently cavernous interior with the sound of beautiful music.  The tremelo from the organ causing the whole building to vibrate with joy at the beauty contained within its majestic stone edifice.  Included in this compilation play list by Classical Music Club are Concerto for Alto Trombone; Concerto for Organ and Trombone; Composers : Johann Georg Albrechtsberger, Georg Christoph Wagenseil and Georg Friedrich Händel ( Concerto in A Flat major ): Leopold Mozart and Johann Sebastian Bach ( Prelude and Fugue in G Major, BWV 550).

Then as it is Thursday, there is this collection of hunky fellows all decked out in denim who form this week's edition of Men In Jeans for you to cruise and peruse.  Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, see you again soon.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
