I managed to nap quite a bit yesterday as well as sift through almost half of the backlog in my feed reader (I have just over 1100 articles, etc. remaining). So I should have things well in hand by the end of the week in time for this Saturday's review. I have also managed to catch some sort of respiratory ailment, most likely a cold, hopefully not the flu. I have had my flu shot and my pneumonia shot (which hurt for 3 days afterward) for this season. Anything I have contracted should therefore not be too serious, however I feel right miserable for now. For this reason I am holding off on visiting my Mother as I do not want to complicate her progress by exposing her to whatever I have. I foresee lots of nap time and some more catching up on feeds between naps before returning to work tonight. Tomorrow is pay day once again (hoo-fucking-ray!) with its attendant chores and errands for the morning. I work tomorrow night also and start my new schedule on the first day of the new pay period on Friday. Basically I will be working every other day until Wednesday when I work that night and the next before starting over again on Friday. Although there are no consecutive days off, this may work well for me alternating work and off days so I may not get as tired as I sometimes have been by the time my 'weekend' has rolled around. We shall see.
Your musical moment for today is this 1959 recording by the Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Eugene Ormandy of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto Number 1 in B Minor, Opus 23 featuring Eugene Istomin as the Piano Soloist.
Closing out today's post is this heaping helping of Hump Day Hunks for your visual inspiration/admiration. Thanks for spending part of your day with me here at Nichevo. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
