Look What I Found In My GMail In Box

There are times when creating an interesting post is a difficult task.  Whether the cause is writer's block, a slow news day, lack of inspiration, a less than desirable mental state or just plain laziness, sometimes the blank page in the post editor stares you in the face and refuses to be filled with anything resembling coherent content.  Then there are times when the inspiration for a post falls into your lap and practically creates itself.  Such is the case for today's post.  I was checking my GMail yesterday when I received a notice for a comment left on my You Tube Page.  The comment was very complimentary, however I was unfamiliar with the person who left the comment who also happened to subscribe to my You Tube Page.  When I am unfamiliar with a commenter, I look up their profile to see who they are and if we have anything in common.  In this case, a love of classical music was the common denominator.  The comment was left by a You Tuber by the name of Nathan Meltzer.  As it turns out, Nathan is a musician with the Violin being his instrument of choice.  Now being a Violinist is not that unusual, however being a somewhat of a prodigy is a tad unusual.  Nathan's natural talent was discovered early on and he began his study of the Violin in the second grade at about age 7 in his home town of Vienna, Austria.  Presently he is living in Bloomington, Indiana where he is continuing his study of the Violin at the Jacobs School of Music String Institute at the University of Indiana.  The unusual part is the fact that Nathan is just 12 years old.  His Fall Recital was on November 3, which coincidentally was the sixth anniversary of my first post here at Nichevo.   I was very impressed with young Nathan after listening to several of his performances.  He has appeared on 'From the Top', hosted by Concert Pianist Christopher O'Reilly, the National Public Radio program that showcases talented classical musicians from the ages of 8-18.  You can see a video of that performance on his You Tube Page.  In the play list below is Nathan's complete Fall Recital Performance which includes Sonata Number 5, 'Spring', Opus 24 by Ludwig von Beethoven; the Carmen Fantasy, Opus 25 by Pablo de Sarasate; and Concerto Number 1 in G Minor, Opus 26 by Max Bruch.  I think you will be as impressed as I was when I listened to him play.  I am always one to encourage young people in their endeavors no matter what their orientation, and sharing this play list with you guys is part of that encouragement.  All musical artists like to be recognized and appreciated, so if you would drop by his You Tube Page and leave an encouraging word or two, I am sure both he and I would appreciate it very much.  Here is his Fall Recital Performance:

Now since this is Hump Day, I have gathered this little collection of Random Hotness for your visual appreciation.  All of these guys are hot, highly humpable and lusciously lickable which should fuel a fantasy or two on your scroll down the page.  Thanks for your visit, stop in again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
