Hump Day Hot Links, Cartucci & Studmuffin Stew

I found the following "Five Tips For Queer Boys" by Yosimar Reyes (Graphics by Julio Dalgado) posted at Bad Biscuits along with this little treatise on cruising a Gay website re-posted from Stop Gay Racism and Internalized Homopobia.

I also ran across this interesting graphic on the economic impact of marijuana legalization that you just might find interesting.  Then if you are ready to read something really horrific, all the more so because the bastards actually believe this shit, you should read the Party Platform for the Texas GOP.  I read the whole thing and was immediately ashamed that I was once one of them (but thankfully no longer) before they became what they are today.

I also discovered some more heretofore unknown to me classical music by a student of Arcangelo Corelli that I would like to share with you today.   The play list includes Concerti Grossi Numbers 4, 9, 6, 12,5, and 11, Opus 3 by Pietro Cartucci (who invented the forerunner of the modern viola, the violetta marina) with performances by Michael Poeschke and Hans Gette (Echo Violin I and II); Hartmut Neuber (Echo Viola); Anton Steck (Violin) Guenter Strobert and Luis Caceres-Moncada (Baroque Oboe); Frank Benkendorf (Baroque Bassoon); Hans-Werner Apel (Theorbo); and Andreas Spering (Harpsichord) backed by the Handel Festival Orchestra conducted by Anton Steck, all playing authentic period instruments.  Following the play list is a new eye candy category full of a boatload of butch boys that I call Studmuffin Stew.  All these things should get you over the midweek hump in grand style and headed downhill as we race once more to the weekend.  Thanks for the visit, see you here again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
