Happy Hump Day

Here it is Hump Day again already, this week seems to be flying by faster than I can keep up with.  However, I have managed to put together a little some, some for you guys today.  In keeping with our musical theme of composers whose last name begins with the letter 'S', today's featured composer is Robert Schumann.   The play list has two pieces by him; the first is a classic recording of Carnaval, Opus 9 performed by the great Piano Virtuoso, Claudio Arrau in 1961. The second piece is his Violin Concerto in D Major with a performance by Wesdeutscher Rundfunk (German Public Broadcasting) Symphony Orchestra Cologne conducted by Jukka Pekka Saraste featuring Frank Peter Zimmermann playing his 1711 Stradivarius Violin known as the Lady Inchiquin which once belonged to Fritz Kreisler and a short encore of the Andante from the Sonata for Solo Violin in A Major by Johann Sebastian Bach.  I then have some deliciously Lickable Lads lounging about the page for your visual edification after the play list.  The music and the men should get you over the hump and racing for the weekend in fine style.  Thanks for the visit, see you again tomorrow.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
