It has been a relaxing 24 hours, a very welcome relief from the madness that was Sunday night. I pretty much lazed about the house, surfing the net, reading and Skyping with friends. I even ordered pizza to avoid having to cook. Therefore I am pretty well rested for Tuesday and truck night, although we are not usually as busy on Tuesday as we are on Friday when we also get a truck. I still have to do some laundry this morning so I will have something clean to wear, but that should only take about an hour and a half, leaving plenty of time to relax before heading to bed again for some rest before the toils of the night.
I have a special treat for you musically today with a live concert performance by Le Concert des Nations under the baton of founder and director Jordi Savall. Le Concert is a Baroque Orchestra that performs on period instruments. This recording is from a Sept 2011 concert at the Royal Opera of Versailles where they performed a series of Orchestral Suites written for the Orchestra of Louis XV, the next to last King of France, by Jean-Philippe Rameau. The concert runs just over an hour and 48 minutes and a complete playlist can be found in the video description here. Because this is Tuesday, I have a goodly number of nimble knaves cavorting about the beaches and pools of the world in this week's edition of Sexy Studs in Swimwear just below the video. The length of the concert should give you plenty of time to peruse them and choose your favorite beach buddy among all the great choices laid out for you.
