Reactions

I spent a great deal of time yesterday watching and reading the reactions to President Obama's announcement of his support for Marriage Equality.  Those of us on the left were generally well pleased with the announcement and the progress it signifies.  Meanwhile those on the right were doing their best Aunt Pitty Pat apoplexy routines at the audacity of "Scarlet" Obama to even suggest such a thing.  In addition the Family Research Council and Tony Perkins (who was skewered relentlessly by Chris Matthews and Barney Frank on Hardball) released this odious compilation of lies and misrepresentations about "The Problem with Same Sex Marriage".  To be sure, we still have our work cut out for us, but it is fun to watch the death throws of deception and bigotry as they slide down the garbage dump of history.  

For your entertainment today I have Symphony Number 3 by Romanian conductor and composer George Enescu performed by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gennady Rozhdestvensky.  Following the video is a rather spicy edition of lithesome lads who are Naked or Nearly So.  Now I have to run down to work to gather the materials necessary for a special project the boss wants me to accomplish.   Thanks for the visit, see you again soon.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
