'Slight' Change of Plan

It has been said that all good plans often go astray, which is exactly what my plan did yesterday.  Shortly after posting yesterday, I received a call from the boss saying Sean was too sick to get out of bed and could I work last night.  So I said yes even though I knew I was not going to get much sleep due to my appointment in the middle of the afternoon at JPS.  I did manage a couple of restless hours of nap time before my appointment and a couple afterwards, but I did not get near enough sleep for the amount of work to be done on a Tuesday night.  Not only do we have our nightly fresh food delivery but also the biweekly grocery delivery that has to be checked in and put up as well as having to clean and prep the store for the AM.  Jesus and I got it all done because we busted our asses doing it, so I really am one tired puppy this morning.  Then when I did finally get home I discovered I had left my cell phone at work so I had to turn around to go back to retrieve it.  I am finally back home now, however I do not yet know if I have the night off or if I have to work my regularly scheduled shift tonight.  At any rate, when I found I had to work last night, I went to the You Tube page of  GoldieG89 to find some music for today.   GoldieG89 has been the source of much of the new to me music discoveries that I have been posting here lately.  Whoever it is that runs that page is certainly very knowledgeable about Classical Music and religiously posts new videos of outstanding performances for me to discover. There is also an archive that I have been delving into where I have made some interesting finds.  For today I found two very interesting compositions by Swedish Composer Gustaf Bengtsson both of which are performed by the Malmo Opera Orchestra. The first is Bengtsson's Cello Concerto in A Minor (1932) featuring Mats Rodin on Solo Cello and Conducted by Tobias Ringborg. The second is his Violin Concerto in B Minor (1941) featuring Tobias Ringborg on Solo Violin with Mats Rodin Conducting. A most delightful hour of listening pleasure with which I am sure you will be pleased.  Because of the time limitations I had yesterday, I took the easy route for the eye candy by selecting some of my favorite examples of Random Hotness in my archives from the pages of the Eyecatcher blog.  He posts so many awesomely hot photos that it is always easy to put together enough photos to sizzle a post in a short period of time.  I am sure you will not be disappointed in my selections as you wend your way down the page while listening to today's play list.  Now Uncle Gerry is going to head off to Nap land to catch up on some of the zzzzz's I missed out on yesterday.  Thanks for the visit, stop in again tomorrow to see what I have going on for your entertainment.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
