Welcome to the Christmas Eve edition of the Best of the Web This Week where I have selected 95 photos out of the over 600 I gathered this week for your perusal. As usual, I had a difficult time choosing the most outstanding photos in a field of some many that were. However I think you will be pleased with my selections. To give you some musical accompaniment while you scroll down the page to pick your favorites out, I have music from another of the less widely known composers. This composer gave lessons to Felix Mendolssohn, inspired Robert Schumann to be a Piano Virtuoso and was a personal friend of Ludwig von Beethoven. The video I have for you today is of the Cello Sonata by Ignaz Moscheles performed by Ramon Jaffe (Cello) and Elisaveta Blumina (Piano).
