Best of the Web This Week

Welcome to the Christmas Eve edition of the Best of the Web This Week where I have selected 95 photos out of the over 600 I gathered this week for your perusal.  As usual, I had a difficult time choosing the most outstanding photos in a field of some many that were.  However I think you will be pleased with my selections.  To give you some musical accompaniment while you scroll down the page to pick your favorites out, I have music from another of the less widely known composers.  This composer gave lessons to Felix Mendolssohn, inspired Robert Schumann to be a Piano Virtuoso and was a personal friend of Ludwig von Beethoven.  The video I have for you today is of the Cello Sonata by Ignaz Moscheles  performed by Ramon Jaffe (Cello) and Elisaveta Blumina (Piano).  Thanks for spending part of your holiday here at Nichevo, be sure to stop by tomorrow for my special Christmas post.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
