Interesting

It proved to be an interesting evening around here last night.  Business was kinda slow at the store as everyone was home watching the Rangers play Game 5 of the World Series.  The Rangers won that game when again Catcher Mike Napoli came through in the clutch with a booming 2 run Double to the right center field fence in the bottom of the eighth inning giving the Rangers the 4-2 victory.  The Series now moves back to St Louis for Game 6 on  Wednesday night where, with a victory, the Rangers can claim their first ever World Series Title.  Game 7 if necessary is scheduled for Thursday night.  Outsports predicted the Rangers in 6, so I am hoping for accuracy there and the Rangers waltz back into town with the title in hand.  After the game business remained slow and Sean and I were making good progress getting the place cleaned up when things took a turn for the worst.  Around 2 Am I once again had a gun pointed in my direction when the store was robbed for the second time this month.  This time the gun was a 45 caliber automatic  which is scary looking from the wrong end.  The single bandit escaped with just the money in register 1 (around $95), I don't know why he did not have me open register 2 other than maybe Sean being invisible in the cooler at the time led him to believe I was by myself.  It still upset me a lot which triggered my PTSD again so the boss sent me home around 3:15 when the police left after investigating.  I am still upset and my nerves are zinging still.  I will get over it and back to normal but I am getting damn tired of being a target for desperate fuckers with guns after little bits of cash.  I am really gonna have to change my line of work if I am to maintain my sanity for much longer.  I have the night off tonight which should help in the recovery process.  I do have some new music for you today from Playing For Change.  Playing For Change promotes Peace Through Music around the world and they wrote a new song in 'honor' of the planet reaching 7 Billion souls by the end of the year. I thought I would preface the new song with some of their older stuff to lead into the new song.
