Hooray, it is Friday once again! For those of you in the USA, it is a three day weekend because of the Labor Day Holiday on Monday. This will make my weekend of work more tedious as the pretend rich have money this weekend and an extra day to party. In essence, I will have two nights of Saturday Night Madness instead of the usual one. (Oh for joy, for joy!) After last night's marathon of stupidity and sloth, I don't know if I am quite ready for two rounds of Saturday Night Madness. One thing is for sure, the Madness will happen whether I am ready to deal with it or not. I better stock up on some chill pills to get me through the weekend, lol.
When I did get home this morning I had received an email from a long time reader from whom I had not heard in a while. Attached to his email were a large number of hot photographs that he wished to share with me. I, in turn, would like to share them with you as I had not selected any photographs for today's post prior to receiving the email. So tonight's Friday Night Fantasies are brought to you courtesy of my long time friend and reader. I thank you, LPB, for your continued loyalty, friendship and the hot photographs!
Now the photographs need some music to accompany them and I have a little something up my sleeve for that too. I did a generic search for concertos on You Tube and this piece by English composer E J Moeran came up on the first page. Moeran's Violin Concerto is a beautiful, melodic composition by an often overlooked 20th century composer. This video recording features Lydia Mordkovitch on Solo Violin backed by the Ulster Orchestra under the baton of Vernon Hadley.
