Happy Birthday, America!

As we pause in our busy lives to party hardy for America's Birthday, we should remember those who have given the last full measure of devotion so that America can remain what it is.  Even with all the problems and prejudices that we as LGBT people face on a daily basis, America is still the best place I have yet found to live.  I have traveled the world and seen many a beautiful place, however, having the freedom to be who I am and the liberty to follow my own path, I can honestly say America is the place for me.  Let's all work to make it a better place for all of us.  In honor of the 235th Anniversary of our Nation's Founding, I have put together a patriotic play list that I hope you will all enjoy.  We start with Barbra Streisand singing "God Bless America", next in line is Whitney Houston singing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic".  Then we have a special video recording of the introduction of "God Bless America" during WWII sung by the original Diva, Miss Kate Smith followed by my all time favorite patriotic march, John Phillip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever".  To complete the set we have the Combined Cadet Choirs of all the US Service Academies singing "The Star Spangled Banner" accompanied by the US Army Herald Trumpets.  Then for eye candy we have some marvelous men in all their patriotic glory and innate sensuality.  So Happy Birthday, America.  Have a wonderful holiday, guys and we will see you again tomorrow here at Nichevo.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
