Boccherini and Some Boys

Good Monday Morning to you all!  I hope you all enjoyed your Wonderful Weekend and are ready to once again get the week started.  I thought we would begin this week with a showcase of pieces by another of my favorites, Luigi Boccherini, a classical Italian composer of the mid to late eighteenth century.  Boccherini was a master cellist as well as a composer with major influences by Mediterranean and Spanish classical music.  In fact some of his most brilliant pieces were written in a small town in the Gredos Mountains of Spain by the name of Arenas De San Pedro and the closest town of Candeleda.  Today's play list starts with three cello sonatas in C minor G2, B flat Major G565, and G Major G17.  From there we move on to Trio Sonata Number 1 in C Major and finish off the set with a Concerto for Cello and Strings in G Major G480.  To accompany all this great classical music from Boccherini, I dug deep into my archives for some photos of classic "boys" clad in their Monday's Undies.  These guys should start your heart to pumping and the flames in your nether regions to spontaneously combust.  All in an effort to get your week off to the best start possible.  Thanks for stopping in, come again and again.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
