Tuesday Update

Today is a much better day than yesterday, however I wanted to update you on a couple of things that I mentioned yesterday.  That fiery crash I told you about on the freeway was caused by a guy driving home from a bar, drunk of course, down the wrong side of the freeway where he collided with a gasoline tanker who had just filled the tank with fuel.  The driver of the tanker was killed in the resulting fireball which burned so hot it melted the concrete and warped the steel support beams to the bridge where the accident occurred.  This will mean half of the freeway will be closed off for four months during the repair making access to downtown from the East Side a real pain in the ass.  The guy who caused the accident was uninjured and has been jailed under a charge of intoxication manslaughter.  I hope they lock him up for a long, long time.

As for the financial stress, my boss owes me about twenty hours from the last three months where my check has been miscalculated.  He has been in touch with payroll to get them on this weeks check which hits my account via direct deposit tonight.  We shall see if this happens.  If it does then the  rest of this weeks obligations and challenges should be met easily.  If not, then an alternate plan will have to be put into action.

I am still having technical difficulties between Picasa3 and Blogger. To avoid the cumbersome use of the insert photo function of Blogger I created a video which was successfully uploaded to my You Tube page and posted for you down below.  The video features Men In Jeans taken from the Eye Catcher Blog and is musically enhanced with the Guitar Concerto in A by Antonio Lucio Vivaldi.  I have tried a bunch of different things to try to resolve the issue between Picasa3 and Blogger with no success.  I have done everything suggested on the Google Help Forums which turned out to be not much help.  I thought it might have something to do with the new FireFox4 browser I am using as I had no problem uploading Saturday's post, so I went back to Firefox3.6 which did not solve the problem.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Picasa3 which did not resolve the issue either.  I ran two different spy ware programs, Ad-Aware by Lavasoft and Super Antispyware and a full virus scan by Avast, all the scans found nothing amiss, yet I still cannot use the Blog This button to successfully upload photographs.  So I may be in the video making mode for the next little while until I figure out what the main malfunction in communication is.  The only thing I haven't tried that has been suggested is make IE9 my default browser, which I really don't want to do.  But I may try that to see if it works, although if successful I will only use IE9 for uploading to Blogger and leave Firefox4 open for normal Internet surfing.

So I guess that about catches you all up on the happenings around here.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by once again, and please do come back.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
