Mahler Monday

This week at the top of the blog I will be featuring some marvelous photographs of water drops taken by photographer Bonali Giuseppe from a recent issue of Photography Magazine.  This may run into the next couple of weeks as there are 39 photographs total in this series which I think you will really like.  For the musical portion of this post I have chosen a 2005 performance by the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra, D Kern Holoman conducting,  in concert at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts along with the University Chorus, and the Alumni Chorus with feature vocal performances by Arianna Zukerman, soprano and Zoila Munoz, mezzo soprano.  The performance is of the complete Symphony Number 2 (Resurrection) by Gustav Mahler.  The performance runs one hour and twenty-seven minutes so you will want to be sure to have time to listen to the whole thing before starting the video.  The symphony is followed in due course by this weeks edition of  some muscular men in Monday's Undies that are easy on the eyes even if you have that Monday morning hangover from too much party hardy on the weekend.  Until next time as always, Enjoy!
