It was a long weekend at work which included the 7-11 82nd birthday celebration. For the celebration we gave away 7.11 ounce Slurpees and everybody and all their relatives showed up for a free Slurpee. Nationwide we gave away over 5 million ot the little suckers. It made for a wild and crazy day all around. Instead of Fraturday this week I had a Thurfraturday, working 28 out of 42 hours from noon on Thursday to 4 PM on Saturday and then I worked again on Sunday from 2-10. When I got off work I was a tired puppy but got on the computer anyway. Turns out I had a wonderful time with Will and my friends on Skype, the conversation is still going on at this point in time. It is refreshing talking to today's youth and keeping up with them. This particular group of young men are extremely intelligent and very funny to talk with. Our conversations covered many diverse topics with no holds barred. We laughed all night and are still laughing now. I have not stayed up all night in a long, long time but have not regretted a moment I have spent tonight. Before I met Will and got on Skype I would not spend 5 minutes on the phone with anyone, and now I am spending hours and my universe is expanding exponentially. With all the crap that has been happening in my life lately, my stress level has been very high to say the least and the tension release of laughter has been so good for me. I have the next two days off so I have time to catch up on my sleep, that is if this conversation ends sometime today! Anyway, I have really enjoyed the wide range of topics and interaction with all the guys. We all had our own input to share which provided many tangents for all to go off on and away we went. The really great thing about the whole conversation is that everyone was sober and we had a real blast all night long. I have been talking with the guys since 11 PM Texas time and it is 9 AM already so I am trying to get this finished so I can go to bed. I really am not in a hurry to end the conversation but I am finally wearing out and becoming weary so it will probably end soon, to be continued when we all get some rest.
