Catching Up and Looking Forward

Columbia River, Washington

This work week has really flown by for me. Here is it Tuesday for you and Friday for me, yippee! I have a real weekend this week with two whole days off, whatever will I do? I am sure I will think of something. I hope you guy liked yesterday's "Tech Talk With Will", he is a real stickler for Internet security and my "go to guy" as far as geekery is concerned. If he doesn't know the answer he has a "go to guy" as well. To be honest, all of the improvements I have made in my computing capabilities have been if not wholly then majorly influenced by Will. This next round of improvements I am saving for will bring me into the world of duo-core technology. I have decided to upgrade to a new PC with a duo-core processor, 500 GB HD , 4 GB RAM and (shudder) Windows Vista Home Premium. I will probably not take the plunge until late June or early July as there are a couple things that have to be taken care of before I can justify the expense, but that is my next major purchase. I am gonna go the bare bones route and use the current peripherals, optical drives, and PCI cards I have now to reduce the cost. My basic reason for the upgrade is processing speed and storage space which will be amply provided in the configuration I have chosen to purchase. Sort of a late birthday present to myself as it were and surely something for which to look forward.

For your entertainment today I have finally gotten to some of the videos in my in box. I have posted some other videos from Playing For Change as they have come out, but I have fallen behind. The Song Around The World CD was released April 28th and is available from their website or Amazon.com. I took all the videos released in the last couple of weeks and put them in a player which is posted below. I also found some really hunky Men In Jeans to cause a rise in your Levi's for today. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
