Life in Black and White

"Sea and Stone"

Welcome to my weekend! I don't know if I have the capability of stopping for two days. I have been running like the energizer bunny lo these many months, so having time to relax is something I am not used to. It will be good to have some uninterrupted time with Will, we have a lot to discuss and plan for. Wally World dealt a fatal blow to his career there resulting in a continued state of unemployment. As he is not yet physically able to do the same type of work, or any other where he would have to stand and move around for 8 hours, he was pretty much stuck out. We have decided therefore to pack him up and move him to Texas where he will be in domicile with yours truly while he recovers and gets back on his feet and able to pursue his employment goals. As it now stands I will travel up with A's van on the 27th to pick up everything and bring it all back down to Texas. This will mean a few days with out a post as I have no laptop although I may try to work in a post from Will's while up in Omaha. Thankfully my lease is up at the end of the month and goes onto a month to month basis so we can look for a little larger place where we both can have our private areas as well as the common areas. So we have been burning up the electrons getting all the details hashed out over Skype and Messenger. This will be a major change for the both of us and I am sure there will be unforeseen adjustments in both our lives. I am looking forward to this transition, even with its attendant occasional periods of chaos and clutter. It will be good to have such a special young friend as Will around the house, the thought of it makes Uncle a happy man. I will be sure to keep you posted as events unfold.

In the mean time I have a couple of videos for you, one to entertain and one to inform. The first is the appearance on David Letterman the other night by the Killers that I saw on Towleroad yesterday and thought you guys would enjoy. The second is a horrifying story about how our brave service members are being used as guinea pigs to test vaccines without their consent and without informing them of what they were being inoculated with. Disturbing, very disturbing. Hat tip to Will for sending me the video. Following the videos is a small part of my Life in Black and White series whose beauty in the starkness of the black and white photography is in sharp contrast to the starkness of the reality these service members are living and dying with. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
