A Pebble Once Tossed

"Inspiration Lake"

My life is about to get a little more hectic for a a short while with the impending arrival of Str8Roomie and HisGurl from South Carolina coming up this weekend. They have decided the small town backwoods of South Carolina is not the place to be right now. I can't blame them as the economic situation in that state like the rest of the country is not very healthy. I am going to put him to work at the store instantly improving their personal economy. I am working with my apartment complex to arrange their apartment but I don't know if it will be ready by the time they arrive. Which means they may be in domicile at my place until the first of May. I love my apartment, but the addition of 3 people to it will stretch it's limits just a little as well as test my nervous system. I am glad I have my new sofa that converts into a full size bed so everyone will have a place to sleep. Good timing on my part, huh? I am also glad that I am in a position to help them make this change in preparation for their upcoming marriage. Another pebble tossed in the ocean whose ripple has returned to my shores. You can check out the archives for some of our earlier adventures, I have written of them many times in these pages.

My weekend was good, not too adventuresome, but wholly enjoyable. Fraturday ended a couple hours early so I wasn't as tuckered out and I got to visit with friends with whom I needed to catch up with. Of course Will and I spent ur requisite time together on Skype although I must confess I fell asleep on him early Sunday morning and he had to wake me up to tell me to go to bed! (Sorry Will!) Sunday I set out to discover the new location of one of my favorite grocery stores which heretofore has been inconvenient to get to prior to having my own car. It was like reacquainting yourself with an old friend. To those of you who do not like to cook, that statement probably does not make much sense, but to those of you who enjoy the culinary arts, a good market becomes your friend and conspirator in all things delicious. I look forward to future collaborations, I just hope it does not do too much damage to my waistline!

Now for the entertainment portion of this broadcast, I have Act two of the You Tube Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall immediately preceded by the latest parody of the NOM "Gathering Storm" video and a live performance by Joshua Roman and Mason Bates at the open mic night at La Poisson Rouge in NYC the night before the concert. Act two is an hour and a half long, so grab some goodies and your honey and kick back a little with some good music. Then scroll on down the page to check out these Men With Ink I found in my archives. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
