Me and My PC

"The Gates of Hell"

I mentioned in an earlier post the technical difficulties I have been having with both my TV and my PC. After many hours and blind stabbing in the dark, I seem to have mysteriously fixed my PC. I do not know which particular action resolved the slow down issues I was experiencing , but as of right now they are non existent. (Thank you, most kind and generous computer gods!) I can now watch video and talk to Will on Skype without one affecting the other and do other things like upload photos to Blogger all at the same time. This, after about 3 maddening weeks of complete BS and frustration, is an extremely welcome event. As for the TV, it has mysteriously regenerated its sound capabilities and has been working fine lo these many hours playing my classical music channel while my PC and I were hashing out our differences. Many thanks go to Will for his patients and suggestions while we resolved this issue.

Before I for get about it, today is the GLSEN National Day of Silence with about 8000 schools and thousands of students participating. Show your support and combat homophobia in your school today! For more information go here.

In this whole long process I was able to come up with a fairly big play list of videos for you today. We start out with comedy, detour into a little newscast from a new You Tuber from Tennessee and end with the You Tube Symphony Concert, Act One from Carnegie Hall directed by Michael Tilson Thomas. That last one is an hour long but well worth the time to watch this amazing group of musicians from around the world. Following the videos is today's eye candy which is all About Face and the depth and beauty that can be found there. Have a fabulous weekend and we will see you here on Monday. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
