"Now is the time for all good men (and women) to come to the aid of their country". That is more true today than ever before in our history. We as a people need to take our country back from the ideologues, haters and others who would forcibly impose their belief systems (no matter how absurd) onto the rest of us. It is our time, it is our choice, it is our perfect opportunity to show the world that we as Americans are better that what George has turned us into. Today is also my Second Blogiversary and I would like to thank each and every one of the 271,313 of you folks out there who have taken the time to stop by my little corner of the blogosphere. It is you guys (and gals) who make Nichevo possible with your unwavering support and encouragement through good times and bad. It has been a long journey over the last two years. If you remember, I started this blog when I was unemployed, broke and desperately reaching out for someone, somewhere... and look how many of you have shown up in answer to my "call". Today I have a good job and a great opportunity on the table that would take me back to Texas for more money than I am currently making as well as a benefit package I do not have now. So today is a far cry from yesterday and tomorrow looks brighter still. Thank you for coming with me so far on this journey that is Nichevo. Stay aboard as we weigh anchor and sail in to the future together. To entertain us along the way, here are some guys who cannot wait for you to cast your "ballot" their way.
