Mid Week Musings

A Tapestry Of Autumn

Did you, like me, watch the debate last night? I know I am not alone in recognizing all the signs of an impending implosion in the McPain/Bimbette campaign. McPain looked old, out of touch, senile and bitchy/smarmy all night then charged off the stage without shaking Senator Obama's hand afterward. He really looked like an evil caricature of himself on stage while Senator Obama looked, acted and sounded Presidential. Obama had facts, McPain had attacks. Even the ever so vaunted conservative media types are beginning to admit their side is going down the tubes toward hell in a handbasket. This can only be good news for the American people who are finally waking up to the facts of the failures of the last eight years and saying "no more, not this time". The Obama/Biden campaign is gaining momentum by the hour, with every McPain snarl and/or the Bimbette opens her mouth to say something totally stupid. Show your support for Obama/Biden and remember to VOTE for OBAMA on NOV 4!

Setting politics aside, I got this little video in my G-Reader and thought you guys might like it, it is Wonderwall by Boyce Avenue:

I have finally managed to clear the back log in my G-Reader so I can now move on to sorting through the video feeds I have for the last three weeks or so to find what is still something you guys want to catch up on (like Holly Oaks and our bois from NUKE) so the videos should start appearing again shortly. I am off today and I have already had a nap so my mental health is actually in pretty good shape today. I am beginning to feel like myself again which, after the last couple of weeks of unexplainable depression and mood swings, is certainly a welcome change. I hope to continue this upward trend in the coming weeks as I get closer to my second Blogiversary on Nov 3. Last year I was approaching 100,00 visitors since beginning to track my stats on Nov 12, 2006. As of last night at midnight I had over 261,000 visitors with three weeks left before Nov 3. I am grateful to each and every one of you who take the time to come by and visit each day, it is evident you tell your friends as they come by to visit too. You guys have made me the number one result when you Google either Nichevo or gerrym0527 and for this I thank you very much. Keep coming back and I will keep bring you the finest content I can find. Speaking of which, check out this weeks edition of Hump Day Hunks to get you out of those mid week doldrums and charging towards the weekend. Until next time as always, Enjoy!

I think it's pretty clear that the Republicans have given up. from McCain pulling out of important battleground states to the way Palin is running around shooting off her mouth. They're just trying to hold their right-wing base together and squeeze out a few votes there, because it's clear nobody else is going to vote for them.

Now, if we can just get Proposition 8 defeated in California!

P.S. Great pics as always and, as always, I'm planning to steal a few for my blog! : )
