The Art Of Man

Autumn Leaves

When I arrived at work last night I was puzzled by the presence of both MM and Scruffy who asked me what I was doing there as I was scheduled off. I suppose during my little holiday the powers that be decided I needed my rest and gave me an additional night off plus the bonus of Saturday night off also. I will not know how to behave with this much time off to aid in the recuperative efforts I am embarked upon. By this time next week I should be well rested and raring to go once again. While the last five weeks have been a drain on my energy levels, there have been many positives come out of the experience. I now have a reliable back up to take my place on my nights off, I have solidified my position with management with the successful hiring and training of Scruffy along with my IT contributions & his also, and we as a collective group behind the desk have proven we can maintain the business sans management (due to the management opening the new place in Shreveport), taking all the little bumps in the road in stride, the paper work straight and all the money in place. Not too bad a result from a 40 day period of intense activity including two hurricanes with major evacuee traffic. So as I begin to regain my energy levels (regenerating my candle so to speak) I will strive to not burn it at both ends so much (some things can't be helped) but I will not drive myself to exhaustion either. The bump in salary has helped out tremendously as well as the overtime (which is coming to an end) to put me on the right track to financial stability for the first time in years. Yea me!!

I have yet to dive into the back log on my video feeds so it may take a couple days to get back to Video Nichevo, after all I still have over a thousand articles to clean out of my G-Reader. So I do have my work cut out for myself. That being said I went into my archives to bring you a special edition of the eye candy section, The Art Of Man celebrating some of my collection of artistic impressions of the beauty found in the male form. I am also following sort of an Autumn Theme in the header photos this week, all of which if you click on them open up to wallpaper size. Until next time as always, Enjoy!
