It does seem to me as my skills have increased, my talents have been recognized and are being utilized more fully than before. In fact, after I returned home from work, my buddy in Dallas called and asked me to do a revision on the business plan I created for him in collaboration with him. Basically use my vocabulary skills and writing ability to turn his thoughts into correct terminology understandable by the bean counters and franchise granters. The thing that caused me the most problems was the file he transmitted (8216 kb) not only was rather large for an email attachment but it opened as a read only so I had to get it into an editable format. He and I both use Open Office rather than the Evil Empire's version so it should not have been a problem. Ha! I tried converting it to a .pdf but that did me as much good as bathing suit in a blizzard then it occurred to me to save the read only .odt in a .doc format and voila edit ability! The editing was not hard, most of the document I had written so there were no problems there. There was the matter of spelling and grammar. Like most people who speak English as a second language, the nuances of our spelling and grammar sometime are not fully grasped. Being the intelligent gentleman that he is, knowing this weakness in written expression, he pushed the call button and called the person with the biggest vocabulary he knew personally, yours truly. So spell check was definitely in order then the rest went fairly smoothly except for the fact that I fell asleep as I had not fully recovered from burning my candle over the weekend, so I did not finish until around 10 PM last night. which of course meant I had run out of time before I ran out of things to do. Therefore I apologize for not posting yesterday. I have made up for it by adding some extra oomph to the eye candy section and I have a very special Video Nichevo preceding the hotties appearance in their customary place.

Video Nichevo today has 7 videos, all by the same person. I met this person on Sunday and introduced him to you in Monday's post. Shawn Thomas has been recording music since 1993 and just last year started uploading videos to You Tube. Meeting Shawn and getting to talk with him at Care Team has been a joy and a blessing which has led me to many different locations on the 'net one of which was his You Tube Page where I found these seven videos. I have them in chronological order from the oldest to the newest. I have become a fan of Shawn's music which is truly upbeat and beautiful and the man himself. As you watch these videos you will come to know a lot about Shawn and I can't help but be inspired by the music he writes and sings. The first thing you notice about Shawn is, as Gary says, "you're taller than in your picture" and "you have the whitest teeth I have ever seen". He is indeed a tall man and drop dead gorgeous to boot, but his physical beauty is transcended by the the beauty of the spirit shining out of his heart.
